The Chairman of the International Peace Committee for Interfaith Harmony (IPCIH), Pakistan, Mr. Aijaz Ali Chhajro, has appreciated the commendable efforts of government institutions, law enforcement agencies, and administrative authorities for ensuring a peaceful and secure environment across the country during the holy month of Ramadan.
At the outset, the Chairman IPCIH especially acknowledged the leadership of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and Chief of Defence Forces & Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah (NI, HJ, HI) for their exemplary role in maintaining peace, stability, and national security during Ramadan. He noted that their strategic vision and leadership significantly contributed to creating a safe and harmonious environment across the country.
In an official statement, Mr. Aijaz Ali Chhajro lauded the coordinated and proactive measures taken by various government departments that resulted in maintaining law and order, facilitating citizens, and promoting an atmosphere of harmony, tolerance, and mutual respect during the sacred month.
He particularly expressed special appreciation for the dedicated services of the Police Department, Traffic Police, and other law enforcement agencies, along with district administrations and relevant authorities, for their professionalism, vigilance, and tireless efforts in ensuring public safety, smooth conduct of religious activities, and effective crowd management at mosques, markets, and public places.
The Chairman further stated that Ramadan is a time of reflection, unity, and spiritual growth, and maintaining peace during this period reflects the collective responsibility and commitment of institutions towards national stability and social cohesion.
He emphasized that such efforts not only strengthen public trust in state institutions but also contribute significantly towards fostering interfaith harmony, tolerance, and unity in society, which aligns with the core mission of IPCIH.
Mr. Aijaz Ali Chhajro also expressed hope that this spirit of cooperation and dedication will continue beyond Ramadan, further strengthening peace, stability, and harmony across Pakistan.
